The Indira Memorial Education Society (IMES) was established on 13th September, 1987 under the U.P. Society Registration Act. It was started with an objective of serving the society by quality education and vocational training, especially for the upliftment of deprived and ignored sections. Currently, eight Industrial Training Institutes (campuses) are running. Indira Gandhi Memorial ITI is a part of it, which provides better employment opportunities through skill enhancement of their trainees. About six thousand students pass-out from the group institutes every year in 15 trade/courses. The society has a strong base of 2,00,000 alumni.
